Cambridge Central Mosque is Europe’s first Eco Mosque, and was opened in 2019. With a capacity for up to 1000 worshippers, the building showcases its’ structure with elegant glulam timber ‘trees’, which seamlessly flow up to form a lattice roof, inspired by the patterns found in Arabic screens and fabrics.
